With a career spanning four decades, I am a dreamer, and I embrace this aspect of myself. I was born before many modern technologies; I even remember watching the original moon landing live on TV as a child at my grandparents' house. I was tought to think that anything is possible, if you work hard enough at it. In the future, I hope to see a stable human colony established on Mars. So yes, I am old, but young in mind, and certainly younger again relative to the 13.8 billion-year-old universe! I try my best to accept people on their own terms, whenever possible. But sometimes I'm not so successful at that, I'll keep trying.

I have always been interested in computers and coding. I was a computer coding nerd, and worked on mainframe computers, and programmed actual video games, building my own computers to this day. Throughout my career, I have held many different roles, learned numerous programming languages. I continue to learn new languages and skills, most notably VR A-frame, and now studying AI LLMs more closely. One project I am particularly proud of is creating mobile apps that helped thousands of speech-impaired individuals communicate, similar to the software once used by Stephen Hawking.

Over the last decades I have rebranded myself as both a technical and science fiction blogger, and now even discovered myself again as an "entrepreneurial tinkerer". I will always try to cultivate and nurture my creativity, dabbling in various art forms: canvas, digital, literature, always questioning the norm, always learning, and enjoying just being.

Overall, I am proud of who I am and what I have become and do not apologize for it. I dream, and work to make my dreams a reality. It is what defines me. Perhaps we can connect? You can share with me what defines you, so that we may learn from each other, and then again together!
