Capturing the Light Cone of the Universe - All Explained
I really thought I understood the idea of being trapped inside of our simulated reality, but clearly I did not given the information I gleaned from watching this fabulous video interview!
"Capturing the light cone of the universe" is a metaphorical phrase used in theoretical physics and cosmology to describe the concept of observing or mapping the entire observable universe, including all events that could potentially be causally connected to us, limited by the speed of light and the expansion of the universe; essentially, it means seeing the complete picture of everything we could ever potentially know about the cosmos from our perspective in spacetime.
